A good followup that feels a bit like leftovers from the first book (which the author admits, it is). I'm not sure how useful sections on vague concepts like "raising or lowering the pitch on a certain syllable" are going to be for people aspiring to write or rap, but the examples are well chosen and at least it gives language for discussing what's going on in a particular song. Worth buying as an appendix to the first one.
I love this sadly I let a friend borrow it and I don't think I'll be getting it back. Very useful and has a lot of tips.
Learned a lot to make my rhymes flow better! Highly recommended for anyone who's pursuing the art of Emceeing...
It was exactly what I wanted. Just needed a little advice and the book delivers
This book is just kind of a collection of stuff that didn't make it into the first one, with a lot more interview material but a lot less interesting organization. Definitely a great read, but it feels more like a documentary than an instructional.
These were for my son. They came right on time and he's already started to read them.
